That’s what you get when you let your heart win.
Tonight was crazy busy at work. The Kittyhawk is in port straight from Japan this week. They’ve been gone for seven years! As much as I can respect someone who is dedicated to serving time in the military, I have to say I’ve never met as rude of a crowd of people as they are. I can somewhat understand, but honestly, we’re here to make you feel at home. Don’t talk to us like we’re pieces of shit. Don’t treat us like dirt. We serve you beer and bring you food. It’s so frustrating. We’re the ones (other than close friends and family, of course; and avid military enthusiasts/supporters) who cares you are finally home.
Oh well. I shouldn’t complain. Anyway, I still haven’t received my iPhone skin in the mail. I’m so sad! I did however get my laptop charger- which did me no good because my laptop still won’t charge. My guess is it’s either the female piece on the charger part of the laptop, or it’s the physical battery. I hope I get it figures out soon before school starts!
Speaking of school, I finally went in and took the placements tests for the required classes I need; I placed in the highest English class! I didn’t even study, so I’m super excited about that. I didn’t place as high as I had hoped in math, but that just means I’ll do exceptionally well when I do take the class hahaha!! Actually, I thought that if I had studied, I would do better, but I’d struggle in class, so I’m actually happier I hadn’t. Well it’s late, so I’m going to bed.
It’s always best to start in a lower math when you haven’t do it in awhile. If you get bored, you should draw up some werewolf stuff for a tattoo for me! I really liked that squid. That is, if you have any free time.

ahhh marines & military American men always think that the whole world revolves around them … they make sure that the whole world knows who they are & what they do when they visit my country as well T_T (you said it right … who cares though?)
Yeah it definitely feels good when you do well on the placement tests. There’s nothing worse than being put in like a 7th grade math class, haha.
Those laptop chargers/batteries are notoriously unpredictable. My boyfriend has gone through like 5 of them, and the cost adds up quickly. It’d be nice if there was a market for them, with competition the way there is for monitors or dvd players, etc. I’m sure they would have the technology to make decent ones in that case. It’s frustrating just thinking of it - so I hope you can pinpoint the issue
